As the history of snowboarding would have it, there are many conflicting reports about who created the first snowboard. The first assertion is that the Boards of MJ Jack Burchett was invented in 1929 and consisted of a piece of plywood with horse reigns there as bonds. Next in 1963 on the big snowboard designer, Tom Sims created something like a modern snowboard as a class project. He called his creation a "counsel of skis." Another argues that the history of snowboarding was calleda Snurfer (combination of words surf and snow). The Snurfer was designed by Sherman Poppen in 1965 for his daughter in Michigan. The Snurfer was similar to a skateboard without wheels, but determined. It contained a hand-held rope, and unbound. Finally, the individual who created this snowboard primitive creations in today's parable Dimitrije Milovich. From the 1970's and 80's, the popularity of snowboarding has exploded and many companies have been created exclusively for the mass production of snowboarding. In the early 80's snowboarding competitions began in the United States and spread throughout the world. Booming popularity of snowboarding and transcends to a mass audience and was no longer a sport only for extreme athletes. In less than three decades since snowboarding started to produce in series, was introduced inthe Olympic Games in 1998.
The mainstream popularity of snowboarding had taken off and so did the marketing potential of the sport. Snowboarding began appearing in the powder magazine were in the 70s, but soon all of snowboarding magazines. The first snowboard magazine to all Absolute Radical (later changed to International Snowboard Magazine), the shrine in 1985, made known. Soon, there were dozens and dozens of Snowboard Magazinearound the world.
Snowboarding is now thriving. Most of the tracks have eliminated the "no snowboarding" policy, and many have dedicated tracks, pipes and parks for the exclusive use of bikers. The future of snowboarding is bright. The number of new drivers aged 12-24 is increasing every year.
